This fourth edition of the e-MFP Compass survey continues this methodology while building on the special edition Covid-19 Financial Inclusion Compass published last year to ask how the pandemic has changed stakeholders’ roles and priorities.

The last year has upended the financial inclusion sector. The challenges have been immense, and the full scale of the cost – to families, businesses, institutions – is not yet known. The crisis, of course, is not at all yet over. But it’s important, we believe, to try to really understand what’s going on and what it all means for the present and the short, medium and long-term future for financial inclusion.

43 Organisations apply to Round 1 of EMA 2021

“The EMA evaluation team received 43 applications from organisations with health care initiatives operating in 32 different countries. More than ever, the field of applicants represents a diverse set of provider types and with operations in all regions of the world. A majority of the applicants are MFIs, with banks, NGOs, cooperatives and health services providers making up most of the rest.”

How to re-create and re-envision the rich debate of a typical EMW for people in their offices and homes behind computers? How to allow them to meet and engage?
