The European Union is offering this webinar to representatives from microfinance institutions (MFI) interested to acquire the skills and attitudes of leaders, who can successfully manage remote and scattered teams, working online. The webinar will take place on 3 December.
This session is part of the series “Leaders in a digital era” aiming to equip microfinance institutions with the necessary skills and understanding of tools to effectively lead a team online and conduct successful digital meetings and trainings.
This online workshop will help managers to manage their diversified teams, to perform in expanding digitalization of MFIs and workplaces in general. We will discuss how to help employees acquire digital competencies to adapt to mobile and online work environment. We will identify approach to fight their fears related to expanding Artificial Intelligence and machine learning. We will look into differences in approach to work and embracing digitalization by employees representing various generations.
The webinar explores in depth Digital Emotional Intelligence – a comprehensive set of technical, cognitive, meta-cognitive, and socio-emotional competencies that are grounded in universal moral values and that enable MFIs’ staff to face the challenges and harness the opportunities of digital life.
DQ aims at covering all areas of employees’ digital life that range from personal and social identities of individuals to their use of technology including device and media, their online communication and collaboration at work, their practical, operational and technical capabilities that are critical for daily digital lives and professional careers, potential safety and security issues related to technology, emotional and relational aspects and human rights in the digital age.
