We are proud to present the new MFC tool for measuring financial health of enterprises – SME Financial Health Scorecard, which we developed during the year with our Member MFIs. The tool is designed as a quiz that each entrepreneur can  take within a few minutes and obtain the score with a description of their enterprise’s current condition.

As the concept of financial health goes beyond the traditional balance sheet and income statement financial indicators, we proposed a set of measures that takes into account other dimensions, such as revenue potential, financial management practices, revenue potential, stability and survival as well as access to finance.

In this session, we will present our approach to defining SME financial health and the set of measures to calculate financial health scores. We will then present the results of the tests among the MFI clients.
