ASPEKT takes top tech prize

The software solution designed by ASPEKT (Macedonia) and used in Microcredit Foundation EKI (Sarajevo) won the 1st prize in the “vertical solutions” category at the recent European IT & Software Excellence Award Competition.

The London award ceremony took place at a gala event for 86 finalists from 21 countries. The competition is traditionally organized by the IT market research agency IT Europa, and includes awards in three categories for service providers, software companies and suppliers.

Mr. Borče Dimovski, the Lead Partner in ASPEKT noted: “We are very proud to have won this prestigious award, especially given the strong levels of competition. I would like to thank the award body for giving this recognition. The microfinance sector is growing rapidly and we see a great need for technological innovations. The ASPEKT Microfinance Software Solution that MCF EKI Sarajevo implemented enables clients to run simplified daily operations, to maintain high efficiency of individuals and to control expenditures.”

Mr. Igor Duspara, the “EKI” IT Sector Director stated: “The majority of our operational expenditures were significantly reduced by the implementation of the ASPEKT Microfinance Software Solution.  With the implementation of simple solutions for the needs of all of our sectors and departments we have made clear savings that reach up to 50% at the level of some individual operational expenditures, and we have also reduced the back office expenditures by more than 40%. Taking all this into account I can say that we have reached a high level of ROI and justified this investment in a short period of time.”
